Jung - Instabus EIB
[ back to services menu ]Jung Instabus EIB - Download PDF File with more information The demands made on electrical installations in private and commercial buildings have changed considerably. Factors such as safety, convenience and flexibility play an increasingly important role. The limits for conventional electrical installations have already been reached with a confusing number of individual functional circuits for electrical energy, heating, lighting and shutter control, intruder alarms and smoke, gas and fire detectors. Installations and energy costs have risen. Subsequent extensions, renovations and changes of usage are complicated and involve considerable effort and expense. Instabus EIB offers convincing arguments. It is an intelligent building system for measuring, control, switching, reporting and monitoring functions.Information is transmitted via a bus cable which is laid in addition to the power supply system and is suitable for all specialized applications. The electronic control does nor require a central station as it is distributed and integrated in each device. All the devices that are connected to the common bus cable such as switches, sensors, actuators, control devices and display units can exchange information via this line of communication. This information can be logically linked for evaluation purposes. the bus cable can be laid in a line, star or tree structure. All the devices can be freely selected and have dialogue capability. The data transmissions can contain analogue functions (temperature, time, quantities, etc..) and digital functions (yes/no, on/off, bright/dark, warm/cold, long/short, many/few). Dimming functions are of course also possible. |

Innovative JUNG Instabus EIB products stand out due to their high level of functionality and integration in the well-known switch programs: the EIB room controller combines the function of a switch sensor and a room temperature controller, whereby the status is also indicated on the integrated display unit. The radio-controlled switch sensor links the Radio Management system to the Instabus EIB system. Central control is possible from the mini panel. The functional state are also shown on the display unit. Here are just some benefits of the Instabus EIB system; *** Energy savings, particualarly with the Instabus EIB presense detector. The relevant heating, lighting and air conditioning systems are only activated if the device detects movement within a radius of five (5) m inside the building. |
