Est. 2002 - Koh Samui, Thailand

Kunini begun operations in Koh Samui in August 2002 with the initial aim of providing quality security solutions and related services to Koh Samui’s growing community. The business was started from humble beginnings offering alarm system installations with Wireless and Hard Wired systems with CCTV options. Soon realising that in order for the company to grow Kunini must offer more services so introduced Access Control Systems to the product range. During this time the property market in Samui stared to take off so we started to look at other revenue areas. Always having an interest in technology we started looking at Home Automation Systems and came across Futronix a leading lighting control system manufacture from Thailand and the UK. Kunini started designing and installing Futronix Lighting Control Systems in 2005 and currently has more than 30 installations from high end villas to restaurants and hotels. During the past four years Kunini has offered turn-key electrical systems and retrofits to many residential and commercial projects in Samui.

In the early days Kunini was known as Kunini Security; the Security was finally dropped from the name after transformation of the company from Security to Electrical and Lighting Contractors in 2009.

The owning company is Kunini Holdings Limited Partnership which is a legally registered Thai company. Kunini is the Thai name given to the owners daughter.

Kunini is owned by Mrs Sataporn Parsons (Thai) who also looks after the day to day operation of the company. The on-site Security Consultant and General Manager is Mr. Daniel A. Parsons (UK national) who has been working with our numerous partner companies to set up and establish Kunini as reliable Electrical and Electronics Company in Samui.

All of our projects are managed by a Project Manager (currently a qualified UK electrician) and a Thai Foreman. All employees of Kunini receive intensive training in Bangkok and on site training in Samui. The design is also constantly reviewed and updated throughout the Project.

The core business of the company is Electrical & Lighting designs and installations. Our Services include;

Kunini installs only quality equipment and carries out all installations to UK / European standards; all work is carried out under the direct supervision of our Project Manager. Prior to any work or installation commencing, a detailed survey and system requirements study is carried out in close consultation with the client or his / her representatives. This ensures that we obtain a clear and comprehensive understanding of all the clients requests, including understanding the way the customer operates, to avoid any subsequent, misunderstanding.
