Turn-Key Solutions
Consultation – this is the first and most important part of the process; we explain that a Turn-Key Solution is a complete process of installing a Complete Electrical System from start to finish and is specifically designed for a client or project; we will Design, Install (complete electrical installation including transformer, generator sets, protection devises, MD panels, all conduits, cables, MDBs’, load centres, sockets, lights etc…), and Test and Commission the entire system. We also provide a full after sales support service for repairs, maintenance or system upgrades.
Another area often not introduced during the planning stages of building a new house or renovating a resort etc… are the inclusion of a plan for any structured wiring for Networks, Alarms, Telephone etc… this is often put in during the build by the general contractor or designated electrical contractor with very little planning. Kunini has the experience of installing multi-cable projects and will outline this in the Design section below.
A thorough understanding of what the client wants must be outlined in the beginning and a clear set of instructions must be drawn up. To help with the overwhelming amount of information required we have prepared a simple questionnaire which we go through point by point with the client. From this initial consultation and completion of the questionnaire Kunini is able to start the design and estimation process.
The advantage of using one contractor instead of three or four is that you will only have to deal with one contact for any changes, additions or requests, and indeed any after installation issues. Also there are the financial benefits of doing it correctly the first time as well as consolidating all into one contract. |
Design – complete Electrical System Design for luxury villas and villa developments, resorts, restaurants and bars. Our designs include full power conditioning and protection from surges and from other common power issues and can include a complete generator set and emergency lighting if the client chooses. We base our design on European standards and produce our drawings in CAD format.
Our design service puts ideas to paper for all types of structured cabling for Alarms, Fire Alarms, Networks, Telephone Systems, Multi-Room Audio, Home Theatre, CCTV, Intercoms, Smart-Home Systems, Cable TV, all produced in separate layers in CAD format and finally put into a complete Structured Cable Plan.
Installation – the installation is generally done in two or three stages;
- Conduit installation and general site prep work – including platforms and enclosures for transformers and generator sets. Install all main HDPE Conduits for external cabling with man holes or hand holes as required.
- Transformer and Cable installation and installation of bare electrical enclosures, includes installing the main power cable between the transformer and the MDB
- Fit out all fixtures and fittings, test and commission the project
Commissioning – based on the complete project plans Kunini will commission and set up the system (s) to the client’s requirements. We understand that the client may need a bit of time to find their way initially so our service includes an initial commissioning based on the clients input and our experience and another site visit approximately ten days after. This gives the client time to use the system (s) and get a better understanding of what they require.
Kunini provides staff Training and gives After Sales Service with a full set of manufactures manuals.
